I’m truly blessed to be able to do something I enjoy so much... My professional education is in both Music (choral and orchestral conducting) AND Communications (Dual concentrations in Rhetoric and Organizational and Business Communication.) My highly diversified background in the business world (sales, marketing, business analysis, communications consulting, and audio/video production) and church work (youth, communications, and worship & arts ministry) prepared me for this industry in ways I would’ve never imagined before taking the leap to follow this dream. I've done something that seems similar to this before and it didn't work. What makes you think you'll be successful where others have failed?

99.9% chance you previously set up a "Lead" campaign on one or more platforms, and you (or your agency) made it as simple as possible to get a submission - so your ads were inadvertently set up, with the help of AI, to attract the most simple clicks (which tends to create the lowest caliber leads). Clients need a second layer to qualify the leads and integrate with AI. Platforms have to be taught exactly "how" to do more on an individualized basis. Most companies don't do that, but we do!

Additionally, we understand the psychology of the sale much better than most and have an astounding engagement rate. The result? Our clients get higher quality leads from the start that improve over time.

How are you different from other brand & digital marketing agencies?

We're white collar guys in a blue collar world in our own roofing business - but here? We're blue collar guys in a white collar world. We know the "in's and out's" of the industry better than anyone else in this space. We know "what makes sense and what works," in large part, because we're out here doing it everyday right alongside you!

We're "Communications Guys" by education and trade who are highly skilled at telling a compelling story and translating THAT to the roofing industry - we're roofers too! - in a way that is so much more effective than the more traditional tactic of "Hey there! Fill out this form so we can come inspect your roof for free!" The leads we generate actually want to do business with our client partners!

What do the ads that you create look like?

If you think you're going to see this amazingly designed image or overly produced video, you're under the impression that those sorts of ads work best. Generally, they don't. When people use social media (in particular), they use it to have fun, not look at ads. And people have become REALLY good at being able to identify what is an ad vs what is a real piece of content. So, if your content looks like ads, most people will just blow right by it.

If you make them look like real pieces of content, they'll stop for long enough that you can draw them into your messaging. So the images and videos we use are literally of houses, or people, or shingles. Sometimes we put those images into grids if it makes sense. But whether they're images or videos, it looks like real content, because it is.

Another thing people get totally wrong when creating roofing ads on Facebook and Instagram is using too few words. People don't have attention spans any more, right? Wrong. It's not that they don't have attention spans; it's that they are really good at knowing what they want to pay attention to. If you can't write amazing sales copy, then sure, keep it short. But if you can, you should write longer, convincing copy. Done well, the homeowner will be brought further down the sales funnel. The difference is night and day.
